We ethically source naturally fallen Giant Sequoia trees in collaboration with a local California tribe, transforming this sacred resource into heirloom-quality lumber, furniture, art, and architectural pieces. Each tree we repurpose is centuries old—over a thousand—and we treat every slab, board, and carving with the reverence it deserves.

    Old Growth Lumber Co. was born from a partnership between experienced woodworkers and tribal leaders who saw an opportunity to do things differently. By repurposing naturally fallen Sequoias from tribal lands, we provide economic benefit to the reservation while preserving the majesty and meaning of these iconic trees.

  • The Story of the Trees

    These beautiful Giant Sequoia fell during a major wind event. While trying to find a way to use what the trees could provide, we worked together closely with a local tribe to come up with a solution to repurpose the fallen trees and help the them profit from their fall.
